2012 WV Pinot Noir
Our vineyard is situated on a southwest-facing slope on Parrett Mountain, just outside of Newberg, Oregon in Yamhill County. Our Pinot Noir grapes come from 3 acres of vines that are over 24 years old - perfectly mature - planted in equal blocks of Pommard, Wadenswil and Dijon 114, 115, 667, 777 clones.
The combination of nutrient-rich soils, optimal exposure to sunshine, the northern latitude that makes Willamette Valley, Oregon so much like Burgundy, France, the occasional marine breezes - all combine to provide a terroir that produces outstanding fruit. And all great wine begins with outstanding fruit.
Occasionally, we bring in fruit from non-estate vineyards in other AVAs - our Willamette Valley blends. Tamu sana!
